To ensure your students see what you see, Leading Mode comes to the rescue! Enable Leading Mode in any online classroom and make students follow you to any tab or part of the whiteboard. Here's how to do so:
Leading Mode allows a teacher to lock a student into their view. This means that wherever the teacher changes a tab, the student's view will also automatically switch to the same tab. Activate leading mode to ensure you are in control of your lesson.
Let's see some other options are available to help you control what students can see and change.
Read-Only mode can be turned on so that students are unable to make any edits on any tabs. When Read-Only mode is on, only the tutor can make changes in the classroom.
If you right-click on the Whiteboard tab (i.e. 'Whiteboard 1') at the top, by selecting "Disallow Tab To Be Closed", this will remove a student's ability to delete a tab.
If you click on Image or PDF and select "Lock" this will prevent a student from deleting or erasing an image or PDF.
